FAQ

1. Person must be 60 years of age or older

2. Dog must be 11 years of age or older

3. Person must live within one hour/60 miles of PWTSS

4. Dogs MUST go to our veterinarian

5. PWTSS transports dogs to and from veterinarians

6. Dogs are not permitted to go to any other veterinarians other than PWTSS veterinarians

7. PWTSS supplies medications if applicable

8. PWTSS pays groomers if applicable

9. PWTSS supplies monthly preventatives

1. Adoption only is available for people age 59 or younger, no matter the age of the dog

2. Adoption only is available for people living outside a 60-mile radius, no matter what the age of the person or the age of the dog.

3. Dogs under age 11 are available for adoption regardless of the age of the person

4. PWTSS does not offer immediate adoption of any dog. 

5. PWTSS dogs go to foster-to-adopt homes. 

6. Foster to adopt is the first 30 days

7. After 30 days, you must adopt or return the dog to the sanctuary

1. Dogs over age 11 that are adopted are $100.00

2. Dogs age 8 to 10 are $200.00

3. Dogs age 5 to 7 are $400.00

6. Senior bloodwork

7. 4DX test

8. Microchip
